The Campus and School Agreement (CASA) for Microsoft is a UC System wide agreement enacted by our Volume Added Reseller (VAR), Dell.
Under the CASA licensing model, Microsoft licensing is distributed through an annual subscription license (A3). Additional details are provided below in A3 Licensing F.A.Qs.
Faculty and staff licensing is determined by each participating department at the beginning of the fiscal year. Departments are then recharged based on the number of licenses and the per-unit price, ensuring easy access to Microsoft licensing. Departments may request additional licenses beyond the initial renewal numbers on an ad-hoc basis by contacting our office through the Microsoft request link.
